Unit Member Serving as Event Field (or Brevet) Officer:
N/A
Unit Equipment or Supplies Taken to the Event:
Trailer and all the equipment; set up large kitchen fly, used the new whiskey barrels to hold wooden muskets.

Noteworthy Occurrences (positive or negative) Involving DTR Member(s) (i.e. commendation from event coordinator of field officer, interview by news media, safety violation, etc.):
Carl, the Dauphin County Parks Supervisor, and Julia, the Ft Hunter Park Supervisor, went out of their way to thank DTR for the program.

Chuck repaired the crack in the trailer.
We straightened up and organized the contents of the trailer and used one of the new whiskey barrels to store the wooden muskets, fire irons and metal stakes.
We agreed to keep the trailer as a storage unit and most of the contents for possible future events.
The business cards were distributed for use in recruiting this season.
Suggestions for the Improvement of Our Unit:
Continue to encourage involvement and communication as well as the development of new 18th century skills and knowledge.

Brief General Impressions of Event:
The weather held and the event went well. We had a great turnout from DTR members (17). There were fewer students (325) in attendance this year due to budget cuts and some school district’s new requirement to have a medical professional on site for field trips. This was the first year we did not provide lunch to all attending reenactors and it seemed to go ok.  It also may be helpful to recruit a male Native Reenactor to supplement Carolyn’s trading post station.
